Using the GOM digitization system, we can obtain a 3D part from a physical part.

Stamped parts

Thanks to digitalization, we can quickly observe and carry out:

  • Check that the stamped part is within the required tolerance.
  • Detect in which operation there is an undesired deformation in order to make the relevant correction.
  • Duplicate a part whose mathematics has changed with respect to the original.
  • To carry out reverse engineering in order to modify a manufactured part according to the required needs.

Dies and Prototypes

The digitalization system also helps us:

  • Duplicate deteriorated dies.
  • Analyse possible deformations in the dies that may affect the repeatability of the part.

Digitizing Process

How it works: starting from a part or a die, a scan of it is made to generate a general mesh, this mesh can be compared with the original CAD or we can transform it into surfaces to be able to manipulate them in case they are needed.
